Speedtest mini on ubuntu 14.04

 

Speedtest.net is a web service that provides free analysis of Internet access parameters, such as connection data rate. It was founded by Ookla in 2006, and is based in Seattle, Washington.

Required LAMP …Apache and php  are required

We can download  it from their website

#wget http://c.speedtest.net/mini/mini.zip

#apt-get update

#apt-get install zip

#unzip mini.zip

# cp -R /[location to extracted folder]/mini /var/www/

# ls -l /var/www/mini



Now rename index-php.html to index.html inside mini folder

Go to your browser and see



Note : it may not give the actual result..
